I can not stop the corruption, greed and irresponsible business decisions that have contributed to our current economy
problems.

What we can do and I do support is state infrastructure projects. Leadership and Creativity is what Minnesota needs
to get our state back to leading the nation with low unemployment numbers.

Lets be honest with the old saying; "It takes money to make money" Citizens of Minnesota "What are you willing to
spend on bonds to jump start our state economy?" I believe when we can show how tax dollars are spent and how it
benefits the state economy we can pass higher bonding bills to get people back to work.

State infrastructure projects for repair, updating, or new construction is one way to get people back to work.

State infrastructure projects:

Roads
Bridges
Transit
Prisons
State buildings
State parks
Trails (ATV, bikes, walk/run)

Vikings Statium - Partnership with the current owners a percentage of their profits to be returned to the state. The
partnership will end, when the state protion of the cost of building a new stadium is recouped. Add a user tax to every
ticket sold for any event at the stadium. The user tax will end when the state gets their return on funds to build the
stadium. Property and sales tax from the stadium each year will be applied to the state funds to build the stadium.

State casino - Profits to supliment K-12 and higher education funds, and to help build the new Vikings stadium.

I am talking about tax money for state infrastructure projects. Surveys have shown state residents are restless and do
not want more taxes. I agree 100% with the survey, yet it does take taxes to run a state government.

My Ideas for state taxes

1. Fair and equitable taxes for all levels of income

2. New lower individual income tax

3. New lower business tax

4. Stop all
"Off Shore" tax loopholes

5. Flat tax/fair tax?

When taxes are cut yet the demand for our services are the same or increase we have to be honest enough to ask
"How do we make up the difference?"

Maybe extend the state sales tax or fees on clothing, services, on-line purchase, alcohol and soda pop?

Here are two questions we have to ask our self; "What do we need?" and "What do we want?" Our job at the state
capitol is to balance the Needs and the Wants with the tax dollars collected.

Reality, fraud, wastes and abuse of tax dollars is an ongoing problem at all levels of government. Eyes and ears of the
public, the news media, and a check and balance system must be in place to prevent fraud, waste and abuse of the
tax payer's money.

Open, honest discussion on the investment of tax dollars must be held to get our state back on track to get people to
work.
Fiscal responsibility & Compassion to do what is right, and to make the "Hard right decisions" for job
growth is how I will help our state to develop jobs.

We can no longer put our head in the sand. This is not a political party problem, this is a state problem. Leadership,
creativity, compassion and to make the hard right decisions, is needed to get Minnesota residents back to work. I will
bring this type of responsability to the state senate as your Senator!
